Rennsteig-Wanderer können wieder vom Aussichtsturm „Plänckners Aussicht“ den Blick über den Thüringer Wald genießen. Die drei Meter hohe Aussichtsplattform wurde jetzt an die Gemeinde Gehlberg in der Ferienregion Oberhof übergeben. Die Stahlkonstruktion ersetzt einen Holzbau, der im November 2012 abgerissen werden musste.
